A Service & Prayers for All Souls at Allhallowtide
The Polish Community Met on Sunday 7th November to hold prayers and honour those buried
in the Brookwood Military & Civilian Cemeteries, Surrey UK

On or around 2nd November each year many Christians remember and pray for deceased family and friends and this may include visiting their graves. Together with All Saints Day many Christian communities celebrate Hallowtide and on this the closest Sunday to those days the local Polish Community gathered at the Polish Section of the CWGC Brookwood Military Cemetery in the UK. There are two plots of Polish graves within the military cemetery, both of which were visited along with military graves in the civilian cemetery. The main ceremony was held at the Polish Memorial with graves then blessed.
